About the track

Red Bull Ring in Spielberg is a short but incredibly intense track with just ten corners, set in the breathtaking Alpine scenery of Styria. Large elevation changes and fast uphill corners demand excellent traction and engine power from the cars. The location at over 700 m above sea level means thinner air, which affects brake cooling and aerodynamics. As Red Bull's home, the track regularly hosts sprint races and attracts huge crowds of Dutch fans supporting Verstappen. Short lap times under 70 seconds make the competition extremely tight, with differences between drivers measured in hundredths of a second. Multiple DRS zones on the straights provide genuine overtaking opportunities, leading to exciting wheel-to-wheel battles.
