About the track

Lusail International Circuit in Qatar is a fast, flowing track illuminated by artificial lighting in the desert. Originally designed for MotoGP, it joined the F1 calendar in 2021 and quickly gained a reputation as one of the most physically demanding tracks of the season. Long, fast corners generate enormous lateral G-forces that test drivers' endurance - many of them complain of dizziness after the race. The night atmosphere of racing under the stars of the Qatari sky gives this event a distinctive character. Tyre management and aerodynamic stability are the keys to success at this track.
