Questions

Which timezone are the times in?

Your own, detected from the device, and you can pick a different one in settings. Tapping the line above a weekend schedule switches between your timezone and local time at the circuit.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-in and no account. Notifications are optional and can be turned off at any time.

What does live timing show?

Positions, gaps, sector times, tyre compounds and strategy, race control messages and trackside weather while a session is running. Sessions from 2023 onwards can also be replayed at any time.

Is it connected to Formula 1?

No. CalendarF1 is an independent app and is not associated with Formula 1, the FIA or any F1 team. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

What data does it collect?

If you enable notifications, a push token and your notification settings are stored so reminders can be sent. Nothing else. Details are in the privacy policy.

Why is the iPhone app called "Race Calendar & Live Timing"?

That is its name in the App Store. On iPhone, CalendarF1 shares one app with KiedyF1, our Polish site: on a phone that is not set to Polish it runs as CalendarF1, in English, with the data from this site, and its icon is labelled CalendarF1. Settings → Język / Language switches between the two. On Android, CalendarF1 is its own app in Google Play.
